Phu Dong Football Club aims to win the National First Class

Preparing for the second-tier 2017 season, PDFC has invested, prepared the team thoroughly, under the guidance of the coach Le Duc Tuan. In addition to the players selected and trained by the club, PDFC to has recruited two experienced former Vietnam national footballers, the “Vietnam Silver Ball 2008” Vu Nhu Thanh, former Hanoi midfielder T & T Cao Sy Cuong and former V-League players such as Nguyen Manh Tuan Anh, Nguyen Cong Manh … to increase the quality of the team. In preparation for the second-tier 2017 season, PDFC has trained and competed in many localities with strong teams to accumulate experience and improve capacity.

With the thorough preparation, big investment for the football team, PDFC Chairman Nguyen Xuan Vu said that in the second-tier of 2017 season, PDFC clearly defined the goal of winning a ticket for upper level. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Vu said: “The objective and also the task of PDFC is to win the ticket of the first prize of 2018. We have prepared well for the team; therefore we do not hesitate to express our ambition. Gaining the right to play in the first class is the first premise for the steps, the future development of PDFC.

Meanwhile, PDFC coach Le Duc Tuan also confidently completed the task set by the team leader. The Coach Le Duc Tuan said: “When taking on the task of coaching PDFC, besides the treatment regime, investment for the team, the best thing is the work environment and development plan of the team. It is not an easy task to get promotion for the club, but we are confident that with the preparation and investment of the club, the team will accomplish the goal well”

PDFC is the first Vietnamese football team to develop under the form of a community football model. In the second-tier 2017 season, PDFC is sponsored by Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam.
