[Recall] Replace electrical relay of Outlander/ Outlander PHEV/ Outlander Sport/ Lancer

From 07-May-2018, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) will cooperate with Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam Co., Ltd. (MMV) to carry out the recall campaign of replacing electrical power control relay for 918 units of Mitsubishi (Lancer, Outlander Sport, Outlander PHEV & Outlander) vehicles which have been imported in the period from 2015 to 2016 at MMV’s authorized dealers nationwide, with detailed information as below:

The reason of recall: Due to inadequate welding of internal metal parts of the relays used for electrical power control of the engine control unit and other systems, the welded part may abnormally generate heat and affecting to the normal operation of engine.

Applied model: as following list which are imported in the period of 2015-2016

The necessary time for replacement of electrical power control relay: ~20 minutes
