ANNOUNCEMENT OF RECALL MODEL MITSUBISHI PAJERO TO REPLACE LOWER CONTROL ARM PLACED IN FRONT RIGHT SIDE FOR THE AFFECTED VEHICLES

From August 31, 2020 to August 30, 2022, Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam Co., ltd. will recall the Pajero model to replace lower control arm placed in front right side for affected vehicles, detailed information details are as follows:

Note: All Mitsubishi Pajero vehicles assembled from February 27, 2018 onward have been fitted with a Lower control arm situated in the front right side has been enhanced.

On affected vehicles, the cause was determined to be due to in the welding process for fabrication lower control arm placed in the front right side was not correct, the weld was not enough, not in accordance with technical requirements. Therefore, when these lower control arm are mounted onto the vehicle, it may break during use after a period of time.

Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam will conduct a campaign to replace lower control arm placed in front right side for Mitsubishi Pajero distributed by MMV completely FREE OF CHARGE (include accessories and labor) at all MMV Authorized Distributors on Nationwide, the time for replacement is 1.7 hours (about 102 minutes).
