ANNOUNCEMENT OF RECOVERY MODEL MITSUBISHI I-MIEV TO REPLACE THE VACUUM PUMP FOR AFFECTED VEHICLES

From August 31, 2020 to August 30, 2022, Mitsubishi Motor Vietnam Co., Ltd (MMV) will recall the I-Miev model to replace the vacuum pump for affected vehicles, detailed information details are as follows:

Note: All Mitsubishi I-Miev vehicles assembled from June 11, 2019 onward have been fitted with an improved type vacuum pump.

On affected vehicles, the cause was determined to be an unsatisfactory seal in the pump cover and wiring harness, resulting in reduced sealing ability and possible penetration of the pump. vacuum, causing corrosion of the vacuum pump, which ultimately degrades the performance of the vacuum pump.

Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam will conduct a campaign to replace the vacuum pump for Mitsubishi I-Miev vehicles distributed by MMV for FREE (including spare parts and labor) at all MMV Authorized Distributors on Nationwide, the time for replacement is 0.4 hours (about 24 minutes)
