Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam Adjusts 8% Vat Reduction For Some Maintenance Services And Genuine Spare Parts

January 28th, 2022, The Government promulgates a Decree No. 15/2022/ND-CP dated January 28, 2022 tax exemption and reduction policy, applying the Value Added Tax (“VAT”) rate of 10% will reduce 2% of the tax rate (to 8%). Based on the Decree, Mitsubishi Motors Viet Nam (MMV) would like to inform all customers about the adjustment of VAT at the authorized distributor system nationwide since February 28, 2022.

Please keep in mind that the VAT reduction only applies to a limited number of items and services. As a result, the VAT support policy will not apply to commodities such as viscous oil products, lubricants, chemicals, metal products, or telephones.
