MITSUBISHI MOTORS VIETNAM DONATED 3 BILLION VND TO SUPPORT COVID-19 PREVENTION FUND

On April 13, 2020, Mr. Kenichi Horinouchi – General Director of Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam (MMV) donated the amount of 3 billion for the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the Southern Working Committee in order to support the Government to implement activities to prevent the Covid 19 epidemic, help units and individuals who are directly working on the prevention and control of the epidemic.

With the leadership of the Government, Vietnam timely has taken actions to prevent Covid 19, minimizing the infection in the country. Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam would like to thank and would like to contribute a small part in the prevention of the epidemic in Vietnam and hope all people always have a lot of health, together look forward to the victory of the epidemic.

At the first days when Covid 19 appeared in Vietnam, according to the recommendations and instructions of the Health authorities and other authorities, MMV has implemented specific activities to protect the health and safety of employees and the community such as: Equipping showrooms and service workshops of the Distributors system throughout the country; disinfecting new vehicles before handing over to customers, training and guiding employees on methods of disease prevention; providing masks, providing hand sanitizer free of charge; suspending activities, mass concentration events and remote working.

During more than 25 years of development in Vietnam, MMV has always had activities of sharing and assuming responsibility with society, implementing many programs to support communities, projects to build bridges in remote areas, many scholarships and hundreds of rewards have been given to disadvantaged households

Besides continuing to develop production and business activities, in the future, MMV will continue to accompany social organizations to implement programs for the community, contributing to the overall development for a strong Vietnam.
