MITSUBISHI MOTORS VIETNAM PLANTED 5,000 TREES IN DAU TIENG RESERVOIR FOREST

In August 2026, nearly 100 members from Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam and the authorized dealer Mitsubishi Sai Gon Tay Ninh joined hands to plant 5,000 native trees in the Dau Tieng Reservoir forest, contributing to the conservation of upstream water sources.

Protecting the Southern region’s water resources

Dau Tieng protection forest plays an essential role in safeguarding the water sources and ecosystem of the entire Southeast region, directly serving millions of residents in Ho Chi Minh City.

Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam carried out the project to contribute 5,000 native trees to the Dau Tieng forest area, aiming to increase forest coverage, prevent soil erosion, and preserve vital freshwater reserves. The initiative received proactive support from the Tan Thanh Commune People’s Committee, the Dau Tieng Forest Management Board, and the TreeBank organization.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Yanagawa Tomoki, General Director of Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam, emphasized:

“Each tree we plant today represents our shared promise for a greener future. It reflects our spirit of ”Vững Tiến Mỗi Hành Trình” - ensuring that as MMV grows, our green footprint grows alongside it. Beyond today, I also hope this experience inspires each of us to make small but meaningful changes for the environment in our everyday lives.”

Fostering a love for nature in future generations

The initiative was further enriched by the participation of students from Tan Thanh A Primary School. Along with gifts prepared for the upcoming school year, the students had the opportunity to plant and nurture young saplings hands-on alongside members of Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam and the dealership.

Following previous reforestation efforts at Cuc Phuong National Park, this program at Dau Tieng protection forest reaffirms Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam’s commitment to sustainable development in Vietnam, spreading a greener lifestyle throughout the community.
