RECALL PROGRAM FOR FREE AIRBAG INFLATOR REPLACEMENT FOR MITSUBISHI PAJERO, ZINGER, AND TRITON – RECEIVE A 500,000 VND VOUCHER

With the approval of the Vietnam Register, Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam, in coordination with its authorized dealers, is continuing to implement a recall and customer care program for owners of the Mitsubishi Pajero, Zinger, and Triton.

The recalled models were produced within the following timeframes: 

• Mitsubishi Pajero: from 2007 to 2017 

• Mitsubishi Zinger: from September 04, 2008, to October 17, 2012 

• Mitsubishi Triton: from 2009 to 2015 

Recall details: Free replacement of TAKATA airbag inflators. 

Reason for recall: For some airbag inflators on the driver and front passenger sides, the propellant inside may degrade due to long-term exposure to high heat and humidity. Therefore, when activating the airbag inflator, this may cause rupture with excessive force, potentially ejecting metal fragments.

Especially, from May 1, 2026, to January 31, 2027, Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam offers a 500,000 VND Got It voucher/airbag to the first 500 customers who complete an airbag inflator replacement. Offer valid while stocks last. 

Service time: The inspection and replacement time for the driver’s side airbag inflator is 30 minutes, and the passenger side is 1 hour and 50 minutes.
