SOUTH REGION SEMIFINALS RESULTS – FUEL SAVING CHALLENGE – ECO DRIVE 2020

“Eco Drive Challenge with Mitsubishi XPANDER and ATTRAGE” organized by Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam (MMV) has attracted more than 3,000 drivers to participate in fuel saving driving skills, a lot of participants have achieved an impressive fuel saving level lower than the standard announced by the company; 74 customers from 37 MMV authorized distributors were selected for the semi-final competition.

At the Southern region semi-final round, 22 candidates from 11 Distributors (NPPs) from Ninh Thuan traveled to the South with a distance of more than 10km in order to participate in the competition and demonstrate fuel saving driving skills on both XPANDER and ATTRAGE models.

In order to objectively, practically and fairly demonstrate the fuel saving efficiency of Mitsubishi XPANDER and ATTRAGE, each vehicle participating in the competition undergoes the following types of actual traffic conditions:

• Urban roads with many traffic lights
• Busy traffic density
• Bridge ramps and intersections
• Extra-urban roads

The cars are all installed as in normal use conditions: air conditioning at wind level 3, AC power on, air conditioning adjustment, all sealed during the competition. With such loads, terrain and conditions, the XPANDER and ATTRAGE are challenged in the competition with what it means to be a real family car, to deliver practical and engaging results. At the end of the first 2 days of competition, MMV congratulated the first 3 candidates who have excelled in the Southern semi-finals to win tickets to the finals organized in Nha Trang:
