MITSUBISHI MOTORS VIETNAM 30th ANNIVERSARY “DRIVE AHEAD TOGETHER FOR EVERYDAY ADVENTURE”

Ho Chi Minh City, October 8, 2024 – Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam (MMV) held its 30th Anniversary Ceremony. The event not only marked a glorious milestone in MMV’s development but also served as an opportunity to express sincere gratitude to partners, authorized dealers, and customers for their invaluable companionship over the past three decades. 

The ceremony was a chance for MMV to look back on its 30-year journey of “Drive ahead together for everyday adventure” reaffirming its long-term commitment to the Vietnamese market and continuing its efforts to deliver high-quality products and services that meet the increasingly diverse needs of customers.

In the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony, Mr. Yanagawa Tomoki, General Director of MMV, delivered a heartfelt speech, expressing deep gratitude to partners and recalling significant milestones while sharing the strategic vision for the next phase of development. 

It was an honor for the event to have such distinguished guests in attendance: 

• H.E Mr. Ito Naoki, Ambassador of Japan to Vietnam 

• Mr. Ono Masuo, Consul-General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City

Of particular note, His Excellency Mr. Ito Naoki delivered a congratulatory speech on the occasion of MMV’s 30th anniversary, in which he shared “I expect MMV to build an even brighter next 30 years on the foundation of the high reputation that it has built up with customers” 

On the occasion of its 30th anniversary, MMV and its Authorized Dealers are pleased to announce positive business results: 

• XPANDER continues to lead the MPV segment in the first half of 2024. 

• XFORCE records impressive sales, reaching the number 1 position in the B-SUV segment after only 6 months of launch.

Highlights of our 30th Anniversary celebration: 

• The June 2024 launch of the XFORCE Ultimate featured a Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium audio system, intelligent active safety technology MITSUBISHI MOTORS SAFETY SENSING (MMSS), and a hands-free tailgate. 

• The All-New Triton was officially launched in September, the leading pickup in its segment: a completely new and bold interior and exterior design with 7 driving modes. For the first time, MMV has applied for a 5-year or 150,000km warranty for the All-New Triton, demonstrating a strong commitment of quality to customers. 

• 30th Anniversary Stake holder and partner event on Oct 8th, recognizing the collaborative journey and shared achievements with esteemed stakeholders and partners. 

• Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam City Trail Series 2024: City Trail is a challenging event designed for passionate and determined athletes. Participants will conquer various terrains, from city roads to challenging trails. This experience requires endurance, agility, and adaptability, reflecting the spirit of overcoming limits and embracing challenges. This is the spirit that Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam wants to convey on its 30th anniversary under the theme “Drive ahead together for everyday adventure”. The first race, with over 3,000 athletes, took place in Cu Chi (Ho Chi Minh City) on July 26-27 and is expected to continue in Hanoi. 

• Online Virtual Running Events: MMV is collaborating with authorized dealers nationwide to organize online virtual running events for the sports-loving community. The 1st phase of the virtual run was successfully completed with over 1,300 athletes participating. 

• Customer Care Campaign: Special maintenance service promotion exclusively for Mitsubishi Motors vehicle owners at all authorized dealerships of Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam. 

• Vietnam Motors Show 2024: From October 23rd to 27th, MMV will participate in the Vietnam Motors Show in Ho Chi Minh City. The brand message “30 YEARS OF ‘DRIVE AHEAD TOGETHER FOR EVERYDAY ADVENTURE'” will be highlighted, along with flagship models display. 

• CSR Program: MMV demonstrates commitment to social responsibility through various community initiatives. One notable example is the company’s sponsorship of Operation Smile Vietnam, supporting surgeries for 74 disadvantaged children from 26-30 August 2024. A $30,000 CSR fund was formed through MMV’s internal CSR virtual run from November 2023 to April 2024. For every kilometer run by an employee, MMV donated $1 to the fund
