MITSUBISHI RALLIART LEADS OVERALL STANDINGS AFTER LEG 5 OF AXCR 2025

The Asia Cross Country Rally (AXCR) 2025 is heading into its final, most thrilling stages in Thailand. After five tough legs, Team Mitsubishi Ralliart has made a strong mark—taking first place in Leg 5 and leading the overall standings.

It’s a well-deserved reward for the team’s relentless effort. Right from the first two legs, Mitsubishi Ralliart faced a serious challenge, testing both the drivers’ skills and the Triton’s endurance. The route from Pattaya to Prachinburi and then Khao Yai was packed with rough terrain, deep mud, flooded tracks, rocky paths, and steep climbs. Thanks to incredible skill and composure, the team powered through each challenge to maintain a top-two position overall.

Leg 3 brought even more difficulties, as heavy rain turned the course into a real test for the entire team. On this challenging day, the Triton driven by Chayapon Yotha showed incredible determination, fighting its way to the daily lead and pushing the team closer to their goal of winning the AXCR 2025 title.

The highlight was the team’s performance in Leg 5 in Prachinburi. Despite unexpected issues and visibility limited by dust and mud, the drivers stayed calm, expertly tracking their rivals and waiting for the perfect moment to break away. Using their experience, Katsuhiko Taguchi and Takahiro Yasui brilliantly crossed the finish line in first place. The rest of the team also performed well, showcasing the crew’s excellent teamwork and the Triton’s outstanding durability and performance.

With the overall lead after Leg 5, Mitsubishi Ralliart is in a prime position to claim the championship. The race still has three challenging legs left before its grand finale in Pattaya on August 16. The remaining kilometers promise to be incredibly tense as the team fights to hold its position and bring home the victory.
